I'm a Casting Producer working on TLC's Next Great Baker season 4! This season we're casting teams of 2, instead of individuals competing. Its really hard to find guys that bake...so I figured whats the harm in asking :)
Hope to hear from you!
Best, Megan
mmiguez@highnoontv.com
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6869084926391596539.post-15303458972535956332013-06-25T13:27:36.566-07:002013-06-25T13:27:36.566-07:00I love your topping ideas and using BBQ sauce soun...I love your topping ideas and using BBQ sauce sounds really interesting. I might have to look into that.

Freezing works with most doughs but I'm not quite sure how it would work with this one. It's already had its rising time and I'm not sure what an additional rise would do to the dough. Maybe it's time for me to experiment.

My favorite aspect of this dough is that it makes a lot and you can use it for anything. Whole wheat bread on the fly is pretty nice. I made a few rolls the other day because I just needed a few. It's gotten to the point that I keep this in the fridge constantly.
Now, I just need to see how it will work as a sandwich bread.
JennWernerhttp://www.livinglavitalocal.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6869084926391596539.post-52089583024020834712013-06-25T09:23:32.054-07:002013-06-25T09:23:32.054-07:00Great tutorial, Jennifer!

It was one of my favorites ever. Sometimes I do sweet onions, corn, bell peppers, and a green or some kind with a BBQ sauce. A pizza we had recently had a pesto sauce, salumi, provolone, and then was topped with salad and a balsamic reduction once it came out of the oven. So amazing.

FREEZING TIP:
When I make pizza dough I freeze it in quart baggies as soon as it's mixed. Thaw it overnight in the fridge and it'll rise during the day. Just be sure to open the seal so that the bag doesn't burst.Jenn, Pint-sized Pioneeringhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14250365416220253434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6869084926391596539.post-41055161973424449322012-08-14T13:23:06.137-07:002012-08-14T13:23:06.137-07:00The filling is really versatile. It offers the only gluten free burger in town. They were incredibly friendly, even offering gluten free shopping alternatives.
Won't go there often, but worth another trip.brownleeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06367302162104713747noreply@blogger.com
